late summer is the time to get some beautiful heirloom tomatoes at your farmer's market. they are beautiful and so tasty this time of year.
Ingredients
| 2 | c | mixed heirloom tomatoes (judge how many you need to feed your crew) |
| olive oil (a glug or two) | ||
| 1 | bn | fresh basil (chopped or torn) |
Notes
try and mix and match the colours.
Instructions
just cut up the tomatoes into bite sized pieces, sprinkle with olive oil and toss up with fresh, chopped basil. you don't need salt for in-season tomatoes, but if you feel it's missing something, salt will bring out their sweetness.
